Habitat for Humanity

Habitat for Humanity of the Chesapeake (formerly Arundel Habitat for Humanity) is a non-profit, Christian ministry which works in partnership with people from all affordable housing for low-income families in Anne Arundel and Baltimore counties. St. Anne’s Church has a history of helping Habitat families in Annapolis and the Brooklyn area of Anne Arundel County through donations of money and volunteering our time, talent and labor to help build low-cost homes for families living in substandard or inadequate housing. St. Anne’s participates in building homes with other faith partners as a member of a coalition of churches. Our commitment to help our neighbors is a way to put our faith into action and to “seek and serve Christ in all persons”. Parishioners can get involved by helping at the build site or by providing lunches for the workers at the site. More information will be available as plans become final.
