A Cup of Cold Water - Pastoral Care Meeting on April 23rd at 6:30pm

St. Anne’s is gathering a newly formed “A Cup of Cold Water” Pastoral Care Working Group and invites parishioners to join the initial gathering on Tuesday, April 23rd at 6:30pm in Room 102 in the Parish Hall.

All in the congregation who have a passion for pastoral care are invited to attend, share their ideas, and join the working group in its ongoing work of envisioning this holistic, comprehensive umbrella ministry of parish pastoral care. Two parishioners have written a working paper entitled “A Cup of Cold Water” which proposes a new way of providing pastoral care and encompasses different ways of supporting parishioners during challenging times in their lives.

The name comes from Matthew 10:42, “and whoever gives even a cup of cold water to one of these little ones in the name of a disciple — truly I tell you, none of these will lose their reward.”
