The public is invited to hear St. Anne’s parishioner, Jo Tetlow, speak at the Faith in the Public Square Adult Forum at 11:30 a.m., Nov. 3, at the church’s Parish Hall, 199 Duke of Gloucester St. in Annapolis, Md.
A policy analyst at the Maryland General Assembly, Tetlow will talk about “the sacred nature of kings and presidents from antiquity through the modern age and ask: ‘How does democracy fit in with our tendency to desire a divine king or president?’”
This isn’t the first time that Tetlow has participated in St. Anne’s Adult Forum. Last November she gave a talk at an Adult Forum, comparing the Bible and the U.S. Constitution.
Tetlow is involved in many ministries at St. Anne’s. She’s co-leader of the Foyer Group, co-chair of the Hospitality Committee, a member of the Invite, Welcome, Connect Committee, and part of the Adult Forum planning team.
Come and hear her as she takes on this new topic at the Faith in the Public Square Adult Forum. Her talk is free and open to the public.
