Annapolis Immigration Justice Network Community Discussion
Eastport United Methodist Church is hosting a community conversation on March 2nd at 4 pm with the Annapolis Immigration Justice Network (AIJN). We have invited them to discuss the organization's work supporting immigrant families, dispel myths, and name some difficult realities about our present situation. The event is open to all members of the community, regardless of faith background. The presentation will run around 45 minutes followed by a Q&A.
AIJN, a local non-profit, connects immigrants with legal resources to assist with citizenship cases, playing a crucial role in helping families navigate the complexities of the immigration system. Jessa Coulter, Executive Director of AIJN, will be the featured speaker, sharing insights into the organization's work, the challenges faced by immigrant families locally, and how community members can contribute to positive change. The presentation will run around 45-minutes followed by a time for Q&A.
This event offers a valuable opportunity for the entire community to come together, learn, and explore ways to make a positive impact.
