COVID-19 Updates

St. Anne’s will be offering both the Consecrated Host and Wine for communicants. You may discern either to receive the Consecrated Host that has been Intincted by the priest or receive the Consecrated Host without Intinction.  Due to sanitary reasons, the priest will continue to place the Host (with or without the intinction of wine) into your hands. Intinction is the action of dipping the bread in the wine at a Eucharist so that a communicant receives both together. Should you decide to receive the Consecrated Host without Intinction, gently let the clergy know.  As always, should you desire not to receive the Eucharist, please feel free to come forward to receive a blessing by crossing your arms over your chest.

In keeping with the latest guidance from the CDC, masks are now optional at all of our services, in the Parish Hall and for all gatherings. Many will continue to mask and we encourage you to do so if you are immunocompromised or for other reasons feel more comfortable keeping your mask in place.

We will continue to monitor the state of play of the pandemic, now entering its third year, and will adjust restrictions as necessary, based on public health best practices. Your health and safety is of paramount concern to the clergy and lay leadership of St. Anne’s.
