Meet CRAB, 2024 Grantee

In 2024, grants from St. Anne's were awarded to various non-profit organizations.  One of the organizations that received funding was Chesapeake Region Accessible Boating (CRAB), which brings the therapeutic benefits of sailing to people with disabilities, recovering warriors, and youth from underserved communities. The 2024 grant funding was used to support a two-day sailing and adaptive fishing program, enabling seven (7) families to enjoy the therapeutic benefits of fishing and boating on the Chesapeake Bay. The guests served had disabilities, including paraplegia, quadriplegia, developmental disabilities, and traumatic brain injury.
