Our Winter Relief Week Has Started!

We picked up the belongings for our 14 guests from Severna Park United Methodist Church on Monday. Our guests arrived at our shelter that evening and set up their cots and their belongings.

At 6 pm they were treated to a wonderful chicken breast parmigiana dinner with pasta, salad, and cake for dessert. They had a good night’s rest and were up-and-at-em at 5:30 am on Tuesday for a delicious breakfast of scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, and hash browns. They were ready for the bus for transportation back to Arundel House of Hope by 7 am.

Other than differing meals, this is pretty much our routine for the week. Our guests will head to the next hosting church on Monday.

Many thanks to God’s grace and our outstanding volunteers for making all of this possible. Many thanks as well to those who bought Christmas Cards at our fundraiser last December. We raised over $4,000! A portion of this provides supplies for our week. The remainder is donated to AhoH to support their programs.

Thanks,

Steve Esmacher
