St. Anne’s Grants

In 2024, grants from St. Anne's were awarded to various non-profit organizations.  One of the organizations that received funding was Annapolis Area Imagination Library. The Annapolis Area Imagination Library, an affiliate of the national Dolly Parton Imagination Library, provides books to young children up to the age of 5 in Anne Arundel County. The children are recruited for the program at schools, food pantries, libraries, and resource fairs.  In a recent report, it was indicated that this year’s grant funding from St. Anne's and another organization, used to purchase books and cover mailing costs, has enabled the organization to double the number of children enrolled to 3,478. They estimate that close to 90% of the children receiving books are low-income, English-language learning, active-duty military or special needs (with developmental disabilities).

The Grants Committee has invited organizations that received funding in 2024 to participate in upcoming Adult Forums on Sunday, November 17, 2024, and Sunday, November 24, 2024, at 11:30 a.m. at the Parish House.  All are welcome to attend.
