St. John Passion
On April 18 at 7:00 p.m., we will offer a Good Friday Vespers service built around J.S. Bach’s Passion according to St. John, BWV 245. This is a joint project of the St. Anne’s Choir, the Annapolis Chorale and the Bach+ ensemble.

Burning of the Palms and Cards of Burden
On Shrove Tuesday, we will gather outside the Parish House at 6 p.m. for a sacred rite: the burning of palms from the previous year’s Palm Sunday.
My invitation is for you to not only bring your palms but your index cards to lay down what we no longer need to carry, trusting that God’s refining fire will transform our burdens into something new.

The Great Canticles as cantatas
BWV 82, Ich habe genug (“It is enough”), J.S. Bach’s setting of the Song of Simeon, will be presented as part of the 10 AM service on Sunday, February 2nd, 2025, continuing our musical exploration of Bach’s settings of the great canticles of the Incarnation.
